Hilton Hotels aka Blackstone no longer understands and does not care, so why answer.

Cons

There were no upsides. Hilton Hotels systematically eliminating loyal and professional associates to bring in friends, lovers and previous co-workers who don't understand the history and what works and doesn't. Travelers stay with Hilton because it is Hilton, good luck with the mess your have created. What once was, is no longer and what is, is not any better. You didn't listen to your to your associates or your guests.

Pros

The atmosphere is great! The people I work with are great. The pay is good, the benefits are ok at best, and the partys when given have the best food. I feel safe as the location is nice and there is security around the clock.

Cons

The games management plays when it comes down to our situation with the coming layoffs. They get us all together to basically say "your head might get chopped but you will not know for 30 more days". This is not fair to all the employees. Our moral is shot. Plainly shot. There was a time when people walked around laughing but now the building is quiet. It is sad when you see your own boss in fear of whats to come.

Great hospitaility organization - believes in employee's - takes a great deal of time to get anything accomplished - very decentralized - fast paced and growing organization - lots of hotels and plans on the horizon - upcoming move from California may be challanging -

Cons

Very de-centralized organization with a split personality. Has had a great deal of executive level turnover in the past few months - needs to integrate as a whole and also have sound business practices in place - needs to shrink it's senior and upper management and make them less hotel operations and more corporate centric - empower the employee to make decisions and move forward with business plans.
