      Hilton Hotel was burning me out

      Pros

      To make my resume looks good is probably the only reason I could think of after I left there. Thought the Hilton brand contained good reputation and high standard though.

      Cons

      1. Unordinary long working time without reasonable payment 2. Unbalanced work/life management, often get call back on off-work days 3. Security issues, employees' lockers been stolen many times 4. Reward system is not clear and fair, hard to attract employees to involve

      Hilton Hotels - A Company in Transition

      Pros

      I had the great pleasure of working for Hilton Hotels while it was still the preeminent hotel company in the world. Many of the finest people I've known and worked with came through Hilton's corporate structure. It was a very large family, where everyone had a stake in our collective success.

      Cons

      Since the acquisition by Blackstone, the very structure of the company is changing. While I'm confident the company will once more be a world leader, it has not yet found it's footing. Many great people have moved on, voluntarily and otherwise, with an air of uncertainty weighing heavily upon those who remain.

      Great learning environment but not for too long

      Pros

      You learn through every day operation but also they encourage you to learn further. Hilton University is a great way in developing your skills.

      Cons

      Hilton is operating in very strict guidelines from headquarters which gives little flexibility when negotiating with clients. Also salaries are low and for the level of responsibility doesnâ??t really worth the aggravation
