Good company in terms of strategy, vision and processes. Very poor on "politics" and centralization

Stable company with clear strategy, vision etc. International company with opportunities to work abroad and have interesting cross cultural experiences. Well known quality brand.
Cons
Extremely centralized, decisions need to be processed up the food chain and at HQ there's a tremendous amount of politics that reaches all the way down to middle management on national level. Poorly paid and in particular international transferrals are based on each countries living costs, neglecting things such as the spouse gives up her job to move, the children need to be paid for in schools etc. The new salary in respective country is adapted to that country's living costs which in reality means that you can get much less in salary while advancing to a higher position. Idiotic reasoning and it's set in stone, like most other things at the company.
