Pros

strong in developing sales professionals to other areas like marketing, sales, Hr, finances, product management. Strong brand reputation and presence in the construction market. Decent comp plan, very challenging to grow base salary. 10% turnover rate, excellent for long-term career, do your job and never get fired.

Cons

low market share, expensive but not necessarely the best tools/brand in the market/segment. Complicated bonus structure, changing every year. Execs do not listen to sales people's requets, trust outsiders more then own people.

Pros

Great work ethic from all employees. The sales force employees are best in class. Amazing, quality tools. Customer service team is the best in the industry. Consistently thinking ahead in terms of market reach strategy that drives fastening system innovations. Above average compensation.

Cons

Compensation comes with a price; you will be worked beyond your capacity. Work/life balance is not seen as a priority for team leads. As a private company with a direct sales strategy, if your functional area of competence is not in sales or engineering, change and innovation will be extremely slow. Functional area training is sub-par and at best just below average. The freedom to fail, and grow from taking risks is not welcomed. The management team in Switzerland is seen as authoritarian.
