Pros

Used to be a great place in the Loctite years sadly no more, money and profits are their God and they will walk on anyone to get it. Good pay and conditions.

Cons

Management are an absolute disgrace and should be all sacked immediately, The senior managers are total BULLY'S and they hire people that will also do their bullying and harassing and hide behind the HR department which is led by a total clown controlled by one of the senior managers. DISGRACEFUL.

Good company for entry level careers, others look else where

Pros

- Multinational company - Decent benefits - Possible cross division opportunities and international rotations if picked - Good foundational experience for some one starting a career.

Cons

- Very slow pace of getting things done. No agility. - All decisions need to go to Germany. Even as small as travel <$1000. No local decision making authority. All titles are just that titles. - Outdated polciies and procedures. No one knows how to get some thing done. You will be jumping from one person to other - You need to be a German or be in Germany to actually get promoted - Very bad culture. No one wants to commit any thing in email due to fear of sabootage. - No collaboration between different divisions. Too much politics - C level leadership team in Germany thinks only Germans can do a better job and fix things even if they have no idea of the potential of local employees and skills. - Very high expectation that "we are Henkel" so employees will just stay and work with minimal increments, without ST/LT incentives .
