Pros

Have had the opportunity to work with some excellent managers and a high performing team. Good training program. Excellent company to round of business to business skills. Proven consultants have the opportunity to develop their desk how they see fit. Good energy in the teams. Good incentives and benefits.

Cons

Commission scheme geared towards individual performance rather than team performance which can lead to wasted energy involving internal conflicts.

Pros

Honestly, I thought long and hard about this and I cannot think of one thing they offer that I would recommend - well maybe their salary surveys.

Cons

If you want to be driven into the ground following their KPI's join. When one of the KPI's is 8 CV's per vacancy! then you have an idea of the calibre of the people you are working with. Managers spend all their time running searches on your activity and send you inane emails asking you whey your temp only put in 36 hours of timesheets last week!!

Pros

Exceeded my expectations working at Hays, the support you receive from management and colleagues is overwhelming and really makes you motivated to achieve more. The work environment is fun and young, and there are loads of social activities. As long as you work hard and achieve your results, there are clear steps to achieving career progression. I have learnt a great deal about myself, recruitment, and the market I am recruiting for and look forward to the future!

Cons

Hours are rather long but the demand of the business does require such input from the employee. The rewards make up for it.
