Pros
Not much corporate over sight for GM's. You are expected to run the business as its your own in all facets. Corporate empowers you to do so. Excellent upper level management, these people are highly qualified for the positions they hold. Your uniforms are FREE and issued every 6 months. Dry cleaning is covered by the company as well. Very generous employee discount.
Cons
In my pros section I said there isn't much corporate oversight. The double edged sword to that is if your not in NYC you don't get much support. I don't see much room for promotions. GM's report directly to regional managers because the company eliminated area manager roles for the most part.
