Pros
Good clothes, good discount, when overtime is available you can earn good money, although this seems to now be a thing of the past, particular for management
Cons
No work/life balance whatsoever and don't expect to get paid for the hours you work. External factors not considered when setting targets even when supported by facts. Staff expected to work themselves half to death but maintain a high standard of service and achieve kpi targets. General bad energy and atmosphere as a result of this. Poorly managed in my store. Countless empty promises made by area manager to many team members.
