Pros

The discount, but in most cases the outlet pricing and end of year sale discount is better anyway. The intimate setting of the store makes it easy to make friends or become friendly with clients or coworkers

Cons

Can't comment on the rest of the business but at least in the Australian arm and in particular Gold Coast region, the business is rife with nepotism. High employee turnover and poor store management and upper management. No chance to get moved to a better position or better hours despite consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, turning up to work on time and doing more than required. I was consistently overlooked when there were job vacancies due to one particular manager taking a dislike to me. I wasn't an isolated case, as this also happened to few of my coworkers where the manager was being unfavorable to people that weren't hired by that particular manager. This was further exacerbated when this particular manager pressured me to sign a document under duress, threatening my hours if I didn't comply. Upper management became very disconnected once they consolidated two states under a single area manager and it never occurred to them to look into the high employee turnover in this particular store. If you want to work for a place which doesn't value you, has nothing in the way of career prospects and has little to no appreciation for their workers, then this is the place for you.

Could be better

Pros

Flexible Friday schedule, decent PTO, 401K match, some nice people. You will be treated as an adult, no yelling in the office.

Cons

Any company that would ask their team back from pandemic THE WEEK BEFORE LABOR DAY rather than after is not about its people. You'll be told you'll get support and you'll be told there's a future for you, but you will almost never get a promotion. You have to leave to move up. Everyone is overworked and understaffed, it is impossible to feel like you're accomplishing anything, yet the expectation is you can make mountains move. If you can't you wonder if you'll be on the chopping block the next time there's a "restructuring" aka lay offs. Morale has never been lower and the current leadership isn't helping.
