Pros

Private healthcare genuinely helps. Free access to counselling through bupa.

Cons

You're expected to be a social worker for so many people with very little support. Customers are mostly either vile or at best apathetic. Management pushes you to hit targets, but they do it in very political methods so it doesn't look like there's an expectation for you, which leads to workers sometimes pushing products on customers who don't need it.

Pros

Private medical healthcare as a perk was noice, never had that before and probably won't ever again

Cons

Processes and procedures are 5 years behind every other bank. Most process are lengthy and get more and more time consuming and complicated. Non target driven but very much target driven, back office, business, call centre teams send everything to branch without informing customers branch staff don't have access to systems to deal with their issues increasing branch staff workload. Disgruntled customers will rate you a 0 on a survey for the weather being bad and them losing a card but that 0 will effect your end of year and Management won't even dispute it, training was throwing words at a wall and hoping something stuck, no system practice so would definitely not recommend for new to banking
