I have very few if any positive comments.

Cons

I wasn't valued enough to keep as an employee but was being asked to mentor and train co-workers; even asked to put together internal training as a Subject Matter Expert. Frequently was contacted by co-workers on other contracts to get help/advice in my area of expertise. I was hired to do Development but classified as a Software Tester to minimize the salary they would have to pay. When the contract ended I received my 2 weeks notice with no attempt to place me in other position because I my grade level was 'too low' and was not allowed to apply for jobs at a higher level. That was when I found out the 12+ months I had been working to get my career ladder corrected was a result of deliberate decisions made by HCL at my time of hire limiting my long term viability in the company.

Health benefits are good.

Cons

I have work for this company for six long painful years. Pay was bad, annual pay increases are $0.10, and no real opportunity for career growth. Even if you qualify for a position you were stuck at the project if you were an E0 in the company database . And the motto "Employees First" was completely plagiarized by the company.

-they go by whatever is stated in your contract -lots of communication with HR BEFORE start day -good insurance plan

Cons

-if you are not from India you will have a hard time -manager doesn't care about anything -expense reimbursement for relocation is a pain -there is a big salary difference between visa employees and US citizens or greencard holders
