Pros
Its culture is undergoing a transformation and looks promising. There are some initiative towards having a transperant management and honnest approach towards caring employee career. For example, 360 degree feedback, 2 year job rotation, SSD, etc. Its strategies to business, though it follows 'me too' services like every other Indian IT compnanies, there are few areas where it is trying a differentiating strategies., e.g. Axon, Boeing delas, etc. which I believe will pay off.
Cons
Unfortunately HCL inherits a long history of authoritarian culture in Sr and middle manangement, which is very difficult and time consuming exercise to break. Hence the transformation is slow and may take several years before it can be fully functional at all lelvel.
