      Pros

      Overall good if you are assigned to any projects, as you work with clients not really with the HCL team or managers necessarily.

      Cons

      Once you don't have projects, they try to assign you using a demand sheet and an offshore (India) team who supposedly helps you with your journey. You get only 15 days to get allocated. In these 15 days I tried to contact all the help I could including my manager, HR, the offshore team, first 10 days no one responded. I felt they do not exist. Ran out of time, my end date came and got laid off. The entire experience was that "They do not care".

      Pros

      -Flexibility and freedom IF you are in a position off of the phones - impossible to get fired

      Cons

      - nearly impossible to get fired so you are stuck with team members who don’t carry a fraction of their weight and create more work -chronically understaffed -extremely underpaid -raises are rare and do not meet inflation even if we do get them -subpar benefits - clients have been jumping ship a lot

      Not fully transparent regarding future employment after offshoring postions

      I had a job after State Farm decided to offshore our positions until year 2

      Cons

      The company reported that they will assist us in finding positions within the company after our current positions were off shored. The absolutely failed at assisting long and short term employees future job opportunities once our jobs were filled by offshore (India)
