Treat employees like children. Performance reviews are forced to bell curve, meaning many people rated one or two levels below actual their performance level ... seems more tied to financials than actual employee performance. There is nothing an employee can do to improve their performance rating. Promotions are more for "status" than anything else and have little real value. A so called "Bonus" is forced on employees, which is based on performance review ... targets set with financial penalties, which most are not allowed to achieve. Like to put lipstick on the pig ... make everything sound better than it really is, such that even good things can be disappointing. Huge company with many "one size fits all" policies, often leading to silly outcomes. When employees are unsatisfied (and a large number are), it's put on low level managers, when the real problems are higher up. In some ways, HR seems to run the company, and is often non-responsive to queries.
