      Pros

      Growers is a phenomenal place to work. Very accommodating to helping people out during Covid. Rewarding incentive structure that is aligned with clear cut goals. Amazing culture and team with all sorts of different skillsets that come together and move the ball forward. Management is very supportive of figuring out where you can make the most impact and putting you in a position to succeed. If you are interested in having a meaningful impact on the Ag industry Growers is a where you want to be. Very veteran friendly!

      RDU traffic can be challenging at times but fortunately you can always come in early and leave early

      Pros

      The work we do is very exciting and fulfilling. We know that what we deliver to clients is used to make actionable decisions. The work we do is somewhat seasonal, where we really focus on farmers' needs during our busy season, and then get to reflect and improve our tools during the off season (but those internal development keep us as busy). I joined the company 6 months ago, and I see plenty of growth opportunity. And having a parent company offers a rather stable environment. The future is looking bright!

      Cons

      A couple of things: - our current office doesn't have the greatest layout. So we have to be intentional about collaboration, and team building. - big push for in-office work vs. allowing remote (that was pre-covid, things have changed since then and the company has well adapted).

      At Growers as a member of the product and engineering team I feel like I have a chance to truly impact a software product that is unique and will make a difference in a critical industry. The product and engineering team is fast-moving, growing quickly and full of talented people that are excited about what we're building. With management that gives tremendous support to people that work hard and are engaged in their work, I feel like I have a big opportunity to advance my skills and my career here at Growers.

      This is not the place for you if you don't like intellectual challenges - this is a culture of problem-solvers and team players.
