Pros

Most attorneys are very nice and there is a lot of flexibility.

Cons

Everything else. Management firm wide and regionally is atrocious. Staff leadership does not have necessary qualifications and everything is based on tenure. The top does not make good decisions, which leads to internal chaos and constant turnover at the bottom.

Pros

GT as a firm overall is great. The office is beautiful and upper management seem like great people.

Cons

Upper management does not do anything about complaints for certain departments. Certain departments are clearly unhappy and have made various complaints to HR about the actions of the attorneys (somewhat dubious legal advice/actions and clearly not caring at all about the well-being of the paralegals) but no action is ever taken. Paralegals are treated like a means to an end and then attorneys complain that no one sticks around/there is no loyalty. How can you inspire loyalty when you talk amongst each other about the low quality of work that is produced by their subordinates and expect paralegals to respect you? Frankly the most toxic work enviornment. No one is happy.

Pros

Salary and Benefits were as good as any.

Cons

Probably a great place for young attorneys and of course the shareholders but for staff the place is just ok. The culture is very typical of big firms, attorneys keep to themselves and do not talk to staff unless they need to. They try to make you all feel like "family" but it is so fake.
