      -Pay and overall benefits are top notch for Japan. -There can be some fun and interesting projects. -Great and interesting products. -Generally talented people -Stock value and rsu value has gone up bc of performance and weak yen

      Cons

      -Work life balance has been nose diving and number of people going mental health leave has gone up dramatically -Nothing happens to bad and ineffective management. -About half your time goes towards internal operations and bureaucracy -Lack of decision makIng amongst leadership - Basically no opportunities for promotion in the past 3-4 yrs -Pay is cut unless you are a "top" performer -Many things like promotion and transfer opportunities are decided behind close doors off the official process in Japan. It gets very political trying to transfer between teams.
