management team and general manager at the Golds in Sacramento is what makes that gym a great place to work

Cons

2 of the 3 parties in the executive committee is a dentist and a former construction worker who have no experience at all how to run a gym.

Overworked and underpaid (had to work 6 days a week; only day off was during the week; got paid minimum wage for floor hours; would be at the gym for 6-7 hours, but only get paid for 3-4 due to lack of floor hours and time in between clients) Under-appreciated by management Unrealistic goal expectations (every other Wednesday, we were "required" to sell minimum $500 worth of training) Poor management (FM had favorites, some trainers were fed clients while others were given none; would call us out one by one during meetings to see how much we've sold on that day)
