Great atmosphere with clients, Exposure to new clients, great facilities,

Cons

Lower than average pay for successful personal trainers. Trainers are better at selling than the sales staff.

Pros

Get to meet interesting people. give you time to learn a little about the business of fitness.

Cons

Management only cares about their bonuses and sales numbers. Hire way more trainers than need be. Good trainers by Golds Gym LA standpoint are sales men and has nothing to do with your knowledge of fitness. If you care about fitness and your clients do not work here. Trainers are required to sale a certain about of training each month as well as sale supplements in which gold gym has a contract with only one genertic brand that know one else has heard of. the pay sucks.
