Pros

When I applied in August 2023 I only had to fill in a form about my name and what subjects I wanted to teach. I then received an email to take a competency test for the subjects I wanted to teach. Even if you didn’t pass (I passed 2/3 subject test) you could still teach the subject. There was then a group zoom for onboarding once my application was accepted. There was also a DBS check.

Cons

It was easy but there wasn’t really any training for the role.

Pay is nothing, with loyalty bonuses being highly unrealistic to achieve so no pay rise despite inflation for customers
