Pros

Interesting campaigns Some degree of flexibility (this may have changed since covid)

Cons

Everything else… In my experience… - Sucking up is the only way to get ahead - All about company politics - Performance is not rewarded - No set career paths, and low wage increases every year - Bonus payout based on tenure - Certain toxic department leads who lead with fear - Talk a big game when it comes to values but when Russia invaded Ukraine they were slow to respond, never called it a war in fear of upsetting customers, I believe may have profited - Only posted politically when it suited them, completely ignored the BLM movement and many others in fear of upsetting customers

Pros

The company tries to do its best, at least at statement level. I can identify with most of the values and purposes it states. Working conditions are decent. ERP and systems are well developed, though far too overcomplicated. Can have 80% of time work from home office. People and teams are open and nice to work with. Company culture is mostly open and positive.

Cons

Persistently conveying corporate purposes and goals flips into propaganda. Ego-trip. Often incompetencies in the command chain; professional wise and as individual management capabilites and skills. Shareholder comes before stakeholders. FTE cuts and no replacements in order to boost cash. Catastrophic HR policy execution. No wonder turnaround is very high. Remuneration lags behind.
