Great overall knowledge of the field of flavors and food, with many experts in their own specialties. lots of contacts with customers

Cons

poor rewarding culture, little recognition for progress and innovation. very much a silo mentality between departments and no honest encouragement from upper management to change it.

Pros

It's really a great group of people, and an overall fun environment to work in. Everyone is pretty passionate about what they do and interested in helping colleagues succeed. A considerable number of people have been with the company for a long time (15+ y ears) - a testament to the overall positive vibe of the place.

Cons

The work can get repetitive after a while, as there seems to be a lot of overlap across projects. This is an effect of the industry overall though, and not a downside to Givaudan specifically.
