Pros

None whatsoever , treats employees like cattle and will take every opportunity to prevent paying staff on its books

Cons

This company’s website is trying to promote it self as a company that will offer its payroll services to other organisations. My advice, avoid like the plague. During the covid 19 pandemic where employees have been forced off work, GI Group failed to pay the correct holiday out to people on minimum wage. In addition to the holiday debacle they have also refused to organise the furlough payments from the government on behalf of its minimum wage workers , they state that they don’t want to pay the administration costs involved in organising this and paying staff. This from a company that wants to manage other organisations payroll services. I don’t believe it would beneficial to any companies reputation to have involvement with the GI Group. The covid 19 pandemic is when companies need to stand up and be counted, unfortunately GI Group consider themselves above it all and used it as an opportunity to treat people who have worked on there behalf for considerable amounts of time with nothing more than contempt. People and companies will be remembered for how they managed the situation, GI Group will go down as the company that no one can rely on. If any organisations out there consider using this company to organise there staffing needs then please don’t, their are far more reputable job agencies out there you can deal with, don’t downgrade yourselves by using these amateurs.
