Pros

There are a wide collaboration of scholars and researchers here. Most research group are highly multidisciplinary, and it is really interesting to see how everything fits in together. Lots of different group with different work philosophy, so you are bound to find one that suits you.

Cons

With labs located all across campus, it is tiring to have to traverse across campus for different meetings. Also kind of difficult to locate some people. The group you like to work with might not be the one working in the field you are interested in. Win some, lose some.

Strong engineering department and lots of seminars to attend. If you are an engineering student, you can get a lot of hands on experience

Cons

Generally speaking, tough life here. But it also depending on which group you are working at.

Pros

Georgia Tech is on the forefront of many science technologies. Other than interacting with some of the brightest minds in Computer Science, I also formed connections with many colleagues and was put into contact with many top hiring companies for after Graduation.

Cons

Although I was only a Teaching Assistant, the tech work ethic is very demanding. Doing an additional 15-20 hours of work on top of 5 classes was rather challenging.
