Pros

Only pros are probably the yearly bonus

Cons

For the past three years, GM has continued conducting rolling layoffs multiple times per year, not including the annual “performance calibrations” tied to stack ranking. The layoffs are often handled in an extremely impersonal way — typically through an email or a scripted five-minute call. Employee morale has dropped significantly, and the environment has become increasingly toxic due to the constant fear of layoffs and the pressure of having to survive the “Hunger Games” each year. This year, leadership promoted the Workplace of Choice survey and emphasized positive outcomes, only to follow it with another large round of layoffs that, in some cases, eliminated entire teams. I would not work here and if you do, do not trust anyone. Especially the SLT.
