Pros

Pay, location, and the benefits are decent. Some flexibility in work hours. The company has the potential to be be a decent company. Time will tell.

Cons

Absolute archaic and dysfunctional management. The company succeeds due to the ability of key employees to work around the system. Rule by fiefdoms. Very little room for professional growth.

Not the place to work for junior engineers

Pros

Great benefit package 9/80 schedule Everyone gets some sort of cash bonus.

Cons

No structure to train young engineers straight out of college. New grads are expected to "make things" happen with minimal instructions. There is a constant dash to meet the deadlines on government projects so no grooming occurs. Some management is actually verbally abusive.
