Company trying to cut corners

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Competitive benefits Ability to live where you want while doing deployed work

Cons

Company wants to pay stateside entry-level wages, but get employees that are highly experienced and able to spend at least half the year away from home on the company’s schedule. Company is maneuvering to cut labor costs at the expense of good, dedicated employees

Pros

interesting products and cutting edge technology 9X80 work weeks

Cons

change policies on a whim. hire people on a remote basis then decide to stop honoring those telecommuting agreements and terminate employees that refuse to come back into a company-owned office. annual bonuses were only about 5%, even for employees that "exceed expectations"
