      Pros

      The Gap stores I have worked at consistently have management that is willing to work with you and your schedule (I am a student, so that is key for me). Other associates are friendly and typically, everyone gets along. Working for Gap has been a job that I have kept longer than others specifically because of the positive work environment and the fact that when they hire employees, they treat them well and employees stick around, which is not common in retail. I also know that benefits are offered to employees, which is pretty great, but I do not have the need to take part.

      Cons

      Management at my store has changed fairly often since I began working there, but they have now brought back a former manager who has done the best job, so it has all worked out in the end.

      Pros

      Lots of vacation time, good benefits, decent salary compared to others in the industry. If someone likes you, you'll get promoted quickly

      Cons

      Hard to navigate the red tape of a corporate world. Qualifications for promotions are not clear and there isn't consistency among the various Gap Inc brands
