Pros

There weren't many I suppose. One of the best ones was discount: 6 items at 50%/month and unlimited 30% on purchases for you, partner (who could get a discound card of their own) and gifts. There's a lot of cool people working in the company, most of them as other sales associates - who are usually students and foreigners. Made some very good friends in the first store I worked at.

Cons

Depending on the place, the management can be a little racist or unpleasant. Strict scheduling and company policies regarding rosters - which equals rather poor flexibility if you're studying. Professional advance inside the company rather difficult unless you actually offer your soul and blood of your first-born. Average pay.

Pros

Good employee discount of 50% off full price merchandise.

Cons

Way too much emphasis placed on opening and offering Gap Cards. We were scolded and penalized for not reaching high gap card goals or being caught "stopping at the first no". Some management seemed to disregard employee's lives outside the gap; did not seem to realize that $8.85 after nearly 2 years with the company is not enough to make an employee really want to put their job first.
