Pros

Being in IT, the hours are great and the stress is low (when compared to other companies). The pay and benefits are decent. Very little micromanagement and we are free to pursue whatever we want, as long as our work is taken care of.

Cons

Being in NY, advancement within IT is extremely limited. The core of IT department resides in California. Because of this, there is very little room for advancement if you are not working California. There are just not enough IT positions available.

GAP offers great people and experiences as well as a phenomenal discount and benefit package. Great place to work as long as you don't plan on moving up through the ranks very quickly.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are rare and moving ahead is slow at best. There are a lot of incompetant people in upper management positions as well.
