Pros

Good work / life balance, good bennies, above average discount. there are a lot of locations, so this, theoretically, could lead to opportunity for growth.

Cons

This company is closing stores and eliminating positions left and right...so I'd say lack of job security is a big con! Also, I feel the company should provide more one on one peer training. Training for new hires is very self-directed, and feels a bit rushed.

The environment is fun, friendly and helpful to new employees. A vast difference from Mervyn's buying office, which was a churn and burn situation.

Cons

Career pathing may be limited due to the recent downsizing; much more competitive to make it to manager level.

Some of the managers are jerks. Working weekends Managers hassle you for not folding fast enough. Erratic manager
