      Brand value and Work life balance

      Gap Inc is in the process of establishing this IT wing in India. Initial hick-ups are common everywhere. But this company is definitely struggling badly because of inexperienced management and incapable HR team. • Horrible HR policies and incapable HR team. • HR team changes the policies very frequently and making the working environment miserable. • Role structure and recruitment process are aberrant. • A guy in the HR team is extremely unprofessional and unethical because of his attitude. • Senior Management play lot of politics and they behave like monarchs.

      Pros

      Not many. Some work from home days, but that's it and that is dependent on your team.

      Cons

      There are many, but the ones that stand out now are the sheer lack of direction and transparency throughout the whole organization. Leadership, starting from the current CEO have no direction (especially not being clear with big changes such as splitting Old Navy from other brands). Worse than this, they have lied about how employees accrue bonuses and changed it a few weeks prior, so that we virtually receive nothing. It is not a trustworthy company and there is limited room for growth. I strongly advise to find a job elsewhere.

      - Salary - On Time - Vibrant Infrastructure - Work ( completely dependent on which group you land ) - Office location

      Cons

      - Very heavy hierarchy here in HDC - Directors are busy pacifying Managers - Managers are busy pleasing Directors - Managers are not even Declaring a Variable but they get Awards. Wondering How and Why ? - With all this mutual understanding between Directors & Managers , Engineers are screwed. - HR, HR, HR - where have you been ?
