From my experience, leadership is flexible with work location (wfh/hybrid), nice pto/sick leave policy, and generally there is a good work/life balance

Cons

Gallagher does not give raises. From my experience, they bait you with a nice salary, but in my 5 years working here, the average raise has been 0-<2% (even in years the company has performed well). The only way I got a raise was by getting another job offer, despite "exceeding expectations" on performance reviews and taking on additional responsibilities. Gallagher has very high turnover due to this. There have been lots of company reorganizations as well. Gallagher's benefits are also extremely expensive, especially if you make over $100K.

Pros

No pros. They keep buying agencies left and right and in a few months of onboarding are a disappointment every day.

Cons

Awful benefits. They lied upon transition that they would adjust pay since their benefits are more expensive but they did not care to adjust it for 4000 extra in deductible I now have to pay, of 20% coinsurance instead of 10. HR takes weeks to respond on any inquiries and never actually answers the question and proceeds to close the ticket.

Great peers and clients and autonomy.

Cons

Worked here over 10 years and when I retired, they provided zero acknowledgement or recognition for my contributions. No one even knew I left. To make matters worse, they even withheld my incentive payment. Just seems like they don’t care about their people.
