I like working with the people in the office.

Cons

The management in the office and at a higher level just don't care about where you're at in life. They promise things and never perform on those promises. There was no training, the only Insurance based knowledge I've gotten was from going to classes and buying books with my own money. It's a very low-paying job. There was a guy, younger than I who started at the same time and was offered more money, starting than I was and I had a college degree. It's very sexist that way.

Management in the Albany, NY office is incompetent. All they care about is making numbers.

Nice office with great CO-workers who are fun to work with and are team players. The building has the best restaurant on the first floor.

Cons

Incompetent management who play favorites and who know nothing about insurance or selling it. The morale truly is awful and people can’t wait to retire. The number of people who have left or been terminated is off the charts but no new people joining except a relative of the area president.
