      Pros

      GSK has a laid back culture that demands results. The high performers are compensated well and the work life balance is excellent.

      Cons

      There has been recent cutbacks and management expects higher results from less people. The culture has become stressful and some hot talent has left the company. I worry that we may not have the right people on the bus.

      Pros

      Despite terrible managment and career development, there are many quality people who work there. They provide the only sanity, day to day.

      Cons

      Constant Change. Since 2006, my group has been through 3 major reorgs& over 50% reduction in staff. If we are good at anything, it is managing reorgs. If a drug is actually discoverd by GSK, its pure luck!
