GSK is a good company to work for.

Pros

Excellent products and research pipeline; excellent salary & benefits; very good middle management; excellent reputation with customers, high quality sales representatives to work with; flexible when one needs time off.

Cons

Downsides are common to the industry: increasing level of micromanagement by marketing, decreased access to physician customers; pressure of deadlines and reporting responsibilities. Nothing that would be significantly different at another pharma company, and better than many.

Pros

Glaxo Smith Kline offers a Great Salary and Benefits package. They are looked at as a leader in the pharmaceutical market.

Cons

Glaxo Smith Kline says that they are a transparent company. However, in the past that has not been the case, be carefull while working for this company.
