      Great people, good benefits and pay

      Pros

      The people are great to work with. The pay and benefits are very good, with medical and prescription drug insurance being excellent. Work schedules are flexible, allowing for very good work-life balance.

      Cons

      There have been a lot of layoffs since I have been with the company, and the stress that comes with that is overwhelming at times. The work load is sometimes bordering on too much for the amount of people that are left, and management seems very reluctant to replace people who retire or otherwise leave voluntarily.

      Pros

      GSK is a professionally managed and 100% Ethical and Fair Company. Skill-enhancement continues throughout, both formally as well as in a subtle, i nformal way. It is not surprising therefore that a whole lot of companies are today led by ex- GSKites.

      Cons

      Collective attention notwithstanding, in a large ocean that GSK is, individual needs of Employees are at times not given as much attention.
