Pros

They take of their employees' interests. Work-life balance is implemented. Holistic development for employees. Healthy environment to work in. Known as one of the foundations of the pharmaceutical industry.

Cons

I really can't think of anything except that i was working for the company but had to move to the US so I applied at the GSK in the US but was rejected. So i guess once you leave them, they don't care about you anymore.

Pros

As its visionary CEO, Andrew Witty has clearly initiated many imminent changes over the past few years to ensure the company will remain competitive and relevant in the uncertain future of the Big Pharmas. The company certainly has the unique advantage to leverage on its businesses and transform the archaic way the industry is somehow still refusing to let go.

Cons

The local company has very little context or knowledge of the pharma industry and market. This situation is made worse when the management team are mainly foreigners and the local team are not capable to provide that valuable external insights to manage that knowledge gap. When the leaders are weak, and the subordinates are mere followers, there isn't much to look forward to.
