Pros

- genuinely good calibre of hires and teams, nice people, empathic, intelligent and ethical - despite the bad management - really good network of experts - ClassPass, healthcare insurance

Cons

- noticeable lack of strategic consistency at the top, with frequent shifts in direction and leadership changes—for example over six managers in just two years—making it difficult to build momentum or see meaningful career progression. - while the company does attract strong talent, retention remains a challenge. Often, those best positioned to contribute to long-term growth aren't fully supported or given the opportunities to lead and are therefore forced to leave - promotions tend to favor a close-knit group, which can limit broader development and inclusion of diverse perspectives. - some leadership placements lack deep familiarity with the specific business unit, making it harder for them to recognize and nurture the potential within their teams. - as a result, valuable internal capabilities may go underutilized, which is a missed opportunity for both individuals and the company

Pros

Offcially nothing positive to say about GLG.

Cons

The work environment is toxic and demoralizing. Executive Leadership focuses solely on numbers, not people—you’re made to feel completely replaceable. Perks and benefits are being quietly stripped away—ClassPass, for example, completely unusable at some locations of London. The recent mandate requiring four days in the office has further impacted morale, with little incentive for employees to exceed expectations. Many simply go through the motions—watching the clock, maximizing breaks, and disengaging whenever possible. There's a glaring absence of core values, genuine support, or appreciation for the people doing the work.
