Often, those best positioned to contribute to long-term growth aren't fully supported or given the opportunities to lead and are therefore forced to leave - promotions tend to favor a close-knit group, which can limit broader development and inclusion of diverse perspectives. - some leadership placements lack deep familiarity with the specific business unit, making it harder for them to recognize and nurture the potential within their teams. - as a result, valuable internal capabilities may go underutilized, which is a missed opportunity for both individuals and the company
