Cons

lack of cooperation across different offices specific training given is randomly, if you are out, you miss it learning on the job only, poor training for new hires very low employee retention on all levels learning curve of max. 3 years only woolly and subjective review feedback

Pros

Smart folks, market leading position, willing to experiment, global reach

Cons

A bit too Wall Street-ey, especially in the egos of some folks, also...just cause you went to a good school that doesn't mean you are smart.

Pros

Great group of individual contributors among business development and market research. Mostly all are hard working and sincerely want to do the right thing for clients and peers. Very competitive business model based on ten years of refining business model and market research platform, with strong global coverage and ability to quickly respond to complex client requirements.

Cons

Sales management for new vertical practices are inexperienced in sales and management. Very poor communication on company's future direction. Lots of 'flavor of the month' sales initiatives such as concentrated outbound calling, trying to sell advisory boards, trying to recruit and plan dinner seminars etc. Business Developers are being tasked with market research activities and market research team is being tasked with selling, so much overlap and confusion around individual roles and team goals. Way too much focus for sales teams on internal data entry and reporting - they need to be allowed to sell.
