Pros

The compensation salary and bonus is Great. They use good technology for application development. Its very hands on

Cons

This is your typical fast paced financial environment nightmare. Everything has to be done in a rush. Problems outside your control that delays a project becomes your responsibility if you missed a deadline. An entire elite group of hard and diligent workers left the company because they either got fired or quited. The company has hi turn overs.

GLG attracts very smart people from variety of background but every department can boast of hiring talented and experienced individuals.

Cons

Not a very collaborative environment - the approaches are very individualistic. Tend to hire smart people but not great

Pros

Very fast paced, learn a lot (good and bad) and never have a dull moment if you are looking to work in a start up type feel with constant directions going and changing on a regular basis.

Cons

Direction seemed to be lost on all fronts and no idea ever comes to fruition. You will feel like you are wasting your time developing at some point with the quickness of how gears are changed and things are scrapped for different/new ideas.
