      Pros

      The lack of hierarchy at GLG is refreshing. It's easy to walk around and have no clue who is more senior and who is more junior. Everyone has the same "roll up your sleeves mentality". In New York, everyone sits together (literally) and there are no offices, so it's easy to feel like we're all on the same level playing field.

      Cons

      I realize this may be more New York specific.

      I've found the company to be very flexible and a great source of informaiton for both members and clients.

      Pros

      Has a nice amount of offices around the country and world. This is very important to mission of the company in regards to research and cutting edge ideas.

      Cons

      A slight disconnect between departments, which I will contribute to the office layout. Not a lot of employee benefits like lunches and company happy hours. Work/Life Balance was lacking.
