      Pros

      Laid back environment, managers are friendly, interaction with other offices, can take on a lot of responsibility, co-workers are supportive and fun, decent benefits, global organization, so ability to transfer to offices

      Cons

      Not even guidance or support on career progression, work is repetitive and mundane, lots of back-end operations type work, co-workers are not ambitious enough, too much office politics.

      Pros

      GLG sits at the intersection of every industry as well as the world's top banks, consulting firms and corporations. As a result, it's a great place to learn and grow professionally. Moreover, the company is filled with smart people that have contributed very meaningfully to my overall growth. GLG has been consistently improving it's branding, professional development resources and physical workspaces.

      Cons

      A strong sense of leadership from senior management was somewhat lacking during my time there. There are roles at GLG that are not well-defined and can be tedious, so any applicants should be sure that they have a clear sense of the work they'll be doing and that they are excited about it. Compensation could also be better and is likely below-market for most roles.
