Pros

Coffee bar, nice people, and nice office.

Cons

GLG exploits the potential of recent grads who will work for low pay and a seemingly high amount of responsibility. Many managers are in their first job out of college. High turn over with associates (they'll tell you they are at the same rate as everyone else). Bonuses are extremely subjective (don't hold your breath).

Pros

- You get to see what a lot of companies are working on. - Your peers, in the right group, are great. - The business in the right areas are booming. - It feels cool to work there.

Cons

- Management is unbelievably rude when they don't like you. - Zero understanding of you as a human. Numbers or GTFO. - The lied regarding bonus compensation. - Team structure changed every year for years. - Turnover is amazingly high, and management doesn't seem to care. People just mysteriously disappear. - Everyone is degraded against top performers. - Management doesn't like their customers much on a personal level. - Overwhelmingly liberal with no tolerance for people of differing opinions.
