Pros

- Some cool and smart people - From time to time cool atmosphere - Decent pay - You can develop some good soft skills

Cons

- Probably the worst management I've ever had, unable to communicate in an efficient way - Most of the Managers think they're really working for a consultancy and have horrible behaviors - Pretty boring job where the learning curve is basically zero - People just thinking about money and business all the time - Poor company culture and people ready to stab you in the back if needed in order to make career - Managers tend to micromanage

Pros

Peers will be great people, but unfortunately this isn't reason enough to take a job Pay is nice, but not when considering overtime

Cons

Work/Life Balance is seriously lacking The job itself is very mundane, and will not give you good experience to break into other industries. Again, peers are great, but unfortunately not much diversity in office as a whole. Few instances where I did feel uncomfortable as a minority. These were mostly isolated, but this really should never happen, and would be easily solved with a more diverse workforce. If you have a choice, pick your other offer, or continue your job search - be wary about selecting GLG based on what it seems to be.

Pros

- great office location, very convenient - opportunity to deal with clients directly from the start and build relationships with them - with the junior all the way to senior level clients - fun and driven colleagues

Cons

- high internal politics; perception is a big thing there - repetitive work - employees are valued based on the numbers, as opposed to the qualitative aspects (alot of $$ is invested in tracking your volume etc) - alot of facetime needed to put in (thus going back to point on perception) - not much emphasis on employee retention -- average turnover in Asia offices is 1.2 years - very process-driven culture and work - at times may slow down the delivery of product - hierarchical team structure
