Negligible training, tons of insecurity and zero long term view

The leadership across all offices here is deeply flawed, starting from the top. In particular, some self-appointed leaders and functional support leaders at the Gurugram office exhibit highly toxic behaviour. They are expected to be supportive, but their insecurity makes them anything but. Talented individuals often find themselves targeted, isolated, and ultimately driven to leave the company. This environment fosters poor-performing, sycophantic groups and even 'spies' who report corridor conversations directly to leadership. It's an astonishing practice I've never encountered elsewhere. Globally the firm appears to have lost its way over the past 15 to 18 months, making frantic and often misguided decisions. The unpredictability is unsettling; colleagues you work with on Friday could be gone by Monday with little notice. This has created a climate of anxiety and desperation among employees. Moreover, the training provided is highly specific to this company and unlikely to be useful elsewhere, raising questions about its value. What was once a terrific firm now finds itself in a very troubled state.
