No real "research" involved. The only research you will be doing is sourcing experts from LinkedIn all day in order to get them to speak with your client. Some experts get our industry and are happy to participate, while others will make you question everything.
Work gets incredibly boring and repetitive. I can't think of any tangible skills or knowledge I can take with me to future employers. A job in the expert network space can potentially open the doors to an account management or Sales/BD rep role, but not much more beyond that imo. You don't develop any technical skills whatsoever, or real knowledge of industries, apart from who the competitors are.
