      Pros

      The sheer breadth of offerings, some "best in class" technology. A good story (early health). Improving understanding of outside-US markets

      Cons

      Very complex and poorly integrated acquistions, Understanding of the "early health" story and the breadth of technology offerings is weak. Business approach in siloes, rather than aligned with how customers are organized.

      Pros

      Great real-world experience as a college intern. Fast paced environment. Company places a lot of responsibility in your hands. Great on resume.

      Cons

      Difficult to grasp a full understanding of product configurations in the limited amount of time in the internship. Not many full time positions availible.

      Lots of Managers, not many engineers

      Pros

      Get exposed to quality control through DMAIC and Six Sigma training. Didn't use it as a Software Engineer, but none the less useful knowledge Easy going environment compared to other Japanese company, but depends on which department you work with.

      Cons

      Too many managers, and not many Engineers. Very hard to get recognized for the work you do, since management team usually gets the fame. This is due to the focus is on cost and schedule, and not much about the work thats done. Also, due to the high volume of paper work that needs passing for approval, quality of the product is very hard to maintain.
