Pros

You’ll learn resilience quickly. There is earning potential if everything lines up.. or a manager likes you..

Cons

This is a very difficult place to work long term. It's clear that performance alone doesn’t determine how you’re treated. Accounts can be moved without warning. Compensation structures and expectations shift without proper explanation. There is a strong culture of unfair internal politics. Decisions around pay and opportunity don’t feel consistent or transparent. When issues are raised — whether about workload, fairness, or client ownership — there is rarely clear accountability or resolution. The pressure to deliver remains constant, but support and communication don’t match it. That imbalance wears good people down. There have been repeated complaints from younger female employees regarding the behaviour of a prominent senior male colleague, with no visible action taken. Situations like that contribute to a wider feeling that leadership avoids difficult conversations. Overall, the environment feels reactive, abusive, opaque, and stressful. Some people thrive in that kind of atmosphere. Most burn out. If you value transparency, stability, and leadership you can trust, this won't be the right fit.

Pros

Some nice people. You learn to be resilient and it definitely makes you grow a back bone.

Cons

Multiple CEOs in place who know nothing about how the departments work, you wonder why they have the role. Complaints are made against colleagues and nothing is done about it. I have heard complaints about how male colleagues have acted towards young female colleagues and reports of bullying and the people responsible are never dealt with, yet they make ‘redundancies’ a few times a year and will get rid of people who are actually good at their jobs. Rubbish product, always mis-sold and clients or attendees are lied to. Toxic culture, I have never experienced anything like it. I would strongly tell anyone to avoid this place unless you want your mental health to be affected and be out of a job with bills to pay at a moments notice.

Horrible in Every Way Possible

None. There literally are no pros to this company.

Cons

Management is the SHADIEST I have ever encountered in my my entire career, Everything about this place is a giant lie. They lie to employees, they lie to customers and they lie to themselves. They have the worst reputation you can imagine. GDS is a laughing stock. Even the good reviews are false and they have been accused by Glassdoor of attempting to alter reviews or force their new employees to write 5 star reviews. You can always tell based on the fact there is literally no thought to them at all. GDS is fake, phony and full of condescending . Imagine being forced into an office during Covid. Yep, thats GDS!!!! When the day comes they go bankrupt I'll laugh in their faces.
