Pros

The people are cool and the job pays 90k base (120k if you get chosen to be a director).

Cons

As everyone else said on other reviews - BOILER ROOM. If you are fresh out of college and have the luxury of landing this job then do it. I did the training for a week and the micromanaging factor to this job is absurd. If you have a couple of successful sales years under your belt, please avoid. It's literally a boiler room where you are extremely micromanaged and "pound those phones" environment.

Its disappointing to learn that after a week on the Company onboarding programme, you made the decision to leave GDS. The initial onboarding focuses on learning all about GDS, so it is surprisingly to read your feedback, as you didn't have the opportunity to perform the role. We do have a structured onboarding programme to set our team up for success, which is demonstrated by our new starters scoring deals within 4 weeks of joining, however we respect that the role was not for you and wish you well in your future career opportunities.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Its unfortunate you did not feel there were opportunities to progress within the GDS Group. We have created a development programme for Sales Associates; starting with an understanding of the Delegate experience followed by a 16-week Sales Excellence programme which sets its graduates up to succeed in the wider commercial team. GDS Group are renowned for being very competitive with salaries, paying above average, per discipline, in the Bristol area. In terms of toxic leadership, we would be grateful to learn how you were affected and in which ways we can improve our communication towards staff – please email HR@GDSGroup.com so we can discuss this in further detail.
